If you like football, finding the defensive player of the year each season is a fun activity. If you bet on it, it’s even more exciting.
Last season Patriots’ cornerback Stephon Gilmore snagged Aaron Donald’s chance to win the award for a third consecutive time. Donald remains the favorite to land another outstanding season and win DPOY once again.
Nick Bosa, Myles Garrett, and veteran JJ Watt are his most prominent challengers.

Bet On NFL Deffensive Player Of The Year At |
The Best Bet: Aaron Donald +800
Aaron Donald has won two of the last three Defensive Player of the Year awards, as I mentioned above. All across the league, he’s viewed as the most unstoppable defensive player in the NFL.
In 2018 he recorded 20.5 sacks and was two away from Michael Strahan’s all-time record. Last season he posted 12.5, which were 1.5 more sacks than the 11 he recorded in 2017 when he also won the award.
If you ask me, the sportswriters wanted to award it to any other player than Donald, and they landed on Stephon Gilmore. It doesn’t mean Aaron didn’t have a DPOY worthy season.
He will ball out in 2020 again. He’s just too good.
The Value Bet: Chase Young +2800
Washington DE Chase Young was regarded as the best player in the 2020 NFL draft. He didn’t get selected with the number one overall pick because the league loves quarterbacks, and with good reason.
But Young is a freak talent playing in a loaded defensive line in Washington. The team has five first-round picks playing in the D-line, but Young is the fastest and perhaps the hungriest of all.
Opposite offensive lines will have their hands full with Washington’s defense. However, Chase Young will excel above all, and at +2800, he gets the nod for the most valuable selection to win the DPOY.
