Winning the Super Bowl LIV was quite the thriller for the Kansas City Chiefs. Now they are aiming to do again.
No team has won the Super Bowl twice in a row since the New England Patriots did it in 2003-2004.
The Chiefs have three things going their way to make it happen:
- They have Patrick Mahomes,
- Super Bowl LV will be played again in the state of Florida,
- and they are the betting favorites.

Baltimore Ravens +600
The Ravens were one of the most exciting teams to watch in 2019 before they got stomped by the Titans in the NFL divisional round.
Baltimore has a young team ready to make a statement in 2020. They have the league’s current MVP in Lamar Jackson, but also, they are a team seeking revenge. Seeing Kansas City winning the Super Bowl was not fun for them, especially after dominating the entire regular season.
Can Baltimore have the same success in 2020 as they did in 2019? +600 is extremely enticing for a team that looked like they were going to win the Super Bowl for much of last season.
San Francisco 49ers +700
San Francisco will be kicking themselves all offseason thinking about how they lost Super Bowl LIV.
Only three teams in the history of the NFL have come back from losing the big game to win it the next year.
The Niners, of course, have all the pieces in place to try to get it done this year. The question is, how much will they trust Jimmy Garoppolo to take them to the promised land?
How much will you trust Jimmy G at 7/1 odds? And that’s if the 49ers decide to stick with him at all —due to the way his contract is structured, technically, they could waive him over the next weeks and not pay a dime.
They were the most complete team in 2019 but still fell short in the big game.
No team in the NFC has been to two Super Bowls in a row since Seattle in 2013 and 2014. San Fran should be hungry to come back and they have the team to do it.
