Odds To Win March Madness 2021 – Who Is Favored To Win The Big Dance

March Madness Betting Odds To Win

A few weeks before last year’s March Madness, the world entered an emergency state as the COVID-19 virus hit an all-time high in cases. We were left with no college hoops in March.

A year later, the NCAA plans to host the tournament in Indianapolis, and nothing will stop it. Or at least that’s the message they are sending.

Either way, we are glad March Madness is back in our lives.

Let’s see the futures odds to win the 2021 College Basketball Championship.

Favorites To Win March Madness 2021

Favorite Team Odds To Win
Gonzaga +205
Baylor +280
Villanova +1400
Ohio State +1550
Duke +6600

Gonzaga +205

The Bulldogs never get tested during the regular season. We need the tournament to arrive to see their actual strength.

But because coach Mark Few has been doing this for a long time, oddsmakers trust him to have his team ready to play against other big programs.

Since 2015, Gonzaga has at least reached the Sweet Sixteen, getting to the final and losing in 2018.

The Bulldogs haven’t got it done yet. But this is a dangerous team, always in the mix. Over the last seven seasons, they have an insane 219-24 record.

Baylor +280

The Bears are one of the most exciting teams in the nation. They are scrappy, with solid playmakers and a quality winning run.

COVID hit Baylor more than any other team in college basketball. They spent three weeks without playing, and when they returned, the Ws kept going their way.

The program hasn’t reached a Final Four stage since 1950, but they are currently playing at one of the highest levels in Baylor’s recent history.

Depending on the March Madness betting sites you check, you can find a different value on Baylor. I’ve seen the Bears at 4/1 in some books.

Villanova +1400

The Wildcats could be a pain in the butt for any scoring team in the nation. Villanova has good defensive players who need to commit to playing solid defense every night.

They have good wins over Texas, Marquette, and Georgetown. All those wins with solid defensive efforts down the stretch.

At 16/1, Villanova presents strong value. They are an excellent team that can go on a deep run in March.

Ohio State +1550

The Buckeyes scored 87 points in 67 possessions against Michigan and still lost the game. The Wolverines are good, but Ohio State showed they have more than enough playmakers to compete.

At 20/1, you want a team that can be a challenger and can score baskets. Defensive plays are usually attached to the effort, but an organic offense is harder to find.

Ohio State has the offense, but they just need some work on the other side to put it all together.

Duke +6600

How many times in your life have you got to see Duke 66/1 entering March? It doesn’t happen.

That’s the story of the Blue Devils, who have been awful all year but are heating at the right time.

Is the Duke prestige enough to carry this year’s team to an improbable win? Probably not, but what I know is as a longshot, I can’t pass on Coach K and Duke.
