Seattle Seahawks 2019 Roster Changes
The most notable change for the Seahawks will be the departure of a long-time receiver, Doug Baldwin and safety, Kam Chancellor. After battling injuries for multiple years, Baldwin has retired.
They addressed the need at wideout in their draft but will move forward with Tyler Lockett as the number one option in the passing game.

Defensively, they kept both Mychal Kendricks and K.J. Wright to maintain their strong linebacker corps. Mike Iupati, a key contributor on the offensive line, was also resigned. They also brought in defensive ends, Cassius Marsh and Nate Orchard.

Most analysts liked the Seahawks 2019 Draft. Since they knew that Doug Baldwin would no longer be in the blue and green – they went heavy on wide receivers in the Draft. They traded their 21st pick in the draft to get more picks later.
They selected L.J. Collier, a defensive end out of TCU, who was a very similar player to Frank Clark.
Second Round Pick of the Draft
In the second round, they went with Utah safety, Marquise Blair. He is a big hitter but also is excellent in coverage, which should help with Seattle also moving on with Earl Thomas.
They took DK Metcalf out of Ole Miss at the end of the second round and added Cody Barton for depth at linebacker.
Seattle Seahawks Schedule And Divisional Competition
Most have Seattle’s schedule as one of the easiest in the NFL. It ranks in the bottom third of the league on almost all strength of schedule metrics. They do have some tough dates with the AFC North early in the season, with two away games at Pittsburgh and Cleveland.
Seattle does miss much of the NFC’s best teams, aside from hosting the Saints and an away game against the Rams in Week 14.
