Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce seem to be dating, and the world loves it. The biggest pop star in the world made just one appearance, and it got people talking about the league in ways we have never seen before.

Taylor showed up to the Chiefs’ game against the Chicago Bears on Sunday, September 25th, and social media went absolutely wild, which led to:

- 4.3M viewers watched the Chiefs vs. Bears game, the #1 game this week
- 63% jump in female viewers aged 18-49
- 3x increase in ‘Chiefs’ searches on the web
- 3x increase in Chiefs sales on StubHub
- Chiefs sold more tickets in a single day since the start of the season
- The New Heights podcast surpassed 1 million followers with new subscribers over the weekend

Do Swifties Love or Hate a Taylor Swift – Travis Kelce matchup?
Few fan bases are as passionate and irrational as the so-called Swifties. Not even football fans, and that’s saying a lot.
So, it’s natural that many of them were a little confused when Taylor started dating a football player, one that I’m sure they had never heard before.
Could this really be Taylor Swift’s new boyfriend? To be confirmed, but the Eras Tour star looked very comfortable in the Chiefs’ family section, where she spent the entire game with Mama Kelce.
The Swifties are starting to enjoy and embrace Travis Kelce after her appearance in the game. She looked happy, which made them happy.
And let’s give them some credit. They started googling and learning about the tight end. They bought his jersey and are ready to go all-in about this relationship.
It’s like whoever Taylor Swift is dating… they are as well, which takes me to the point of this article:
The Swifties ARE Taking the Kelces to New Heights
Swifties are known to go the extra mile for Taylor Swift, and by “extra mile,” I mean they truly go all out. This week was the perfect storm to learn about Taylor and Travis’ relationship directly from him.
The Chiefs tight end has a weekly podcast with his brother Jason discussing all things football. The show is called New Heights. See what I did with the title?
The show is quite popular on its own merits, but things got out of control this time. In less than 24 hours, the episode where Travis discussed Taylor’s appearance in the Chiefs game had over 1.6 million views on YouTube. It will get crazy numbers by the end of all this.
The podcast also ranks number one in the Apple Podcast Charts and 4th in the Spotify Charts.
Two things caught my attention about this episode. First, it took Travis and Jason 33 minutes to finally address the Taylor Swift topic. I can only imagine Swifties waiting and waiting.
Also the show has a “No Dumb Questions” section where people can ask whatever they want. It led -of course- to Swifties asking the most basic things about football.
Yet, that’s not the best part. After all, not everybody loves football. But seeing Travis and Jason trying to explain what a Field Goal is to somebody who doesn’t understand the game was quite funny.
Travis Kelce acknowledged the moment he spent with Taylor Swift after the game. It was respectful and classy. The Swifties approved.

We don’t know how long this Football/Pop Star fairy tale will last. No one does. But she’s scheduled to be at Travis’ next game on Sunday Night in New York when the Chiefs play the Jets.
So, at least we will get the Swift-Kelce combo one more week.
