CloudBet Review

Since launching in 2013, CloudBet has positioned itself as a leading Bitcoin-only sportsbook and casino, offering some of the highest betting limits in the crypto gambling industry. With a sleek platform, a wide range of sports and casino games, and instant Bitcoin deposits, CloudBet attracts crypto bettors from around the world.

Unlike traditional sportsbooks, CloudBet operates exclusively with cryptocurrency, meaning faster transactions, lower fees, and enhanced security for players. Their live betting section, combined with a full-scale online casino and live dealer games, makes them an all-in-one destination for crypto gambling enthusiasts.

However, no sportsbook or casino is perfect. While CloudBet shines with its high bet limits, mobile-friendly platform, and generous 5 BTC deposit bonus, it also has its downsides—such as slow customer support response times and occasional software glitches.

In this review, we’ll dive into what CloudBet does well, where it could improve, and whether it’s the right place for you to bet and play casino games using Bitcoin.

A Personal Opinion on CloudBet Sportsbook

What We Don’t Like About CloudBet

Though they have large betting limits, they don’t offer odds quite as strong of odds at many competing bitcoin-based sportsbooks, especially those who have reduced juice options. Their markets are expansive, but they don’t have basic or more advanced bet types, such as teasers and if-bets and reverses. Their parlays only go up to seven teams as well.

Another small issue is with support. While support has been solid, it’s much slower than other sites. When they opened their doors emails were answered much faster, usually within a few hours but this has deteriorated to 10+ hours in recent months.

In 2016, Sportsbook Review began to receive complaints about CloudBet’s software when it came to grading wagers. Several complaints allege that CloudBet graded wagers incorrectly and are taking too long to grade bets. Many also report errors when trying to place bets on certain markets.

Software errors that don’t allow customers to wager, along with slow or incorrect grading of some markets is especially worrisome. CloudBet’s software looks fantastic, and their markets are huge, but apparently, there are plenty of issues with placing bets and having them graded quickly.

CloudBet Betting Site – Deposits and Withdrawals

B

They are one of the few bitcoin sportsbooks to offer zero confirmation deposits. This means that the blockchain doesn’t need to confirm the transaction before your bitcoins are credited to your account balance. Because of this, deposits are available nearly instantly and at the most a matter of 5-10 minutes.

Withdrawals can be made automatically for the most part. Most players can withdraw after their deposit gets three confirmations. Some requests may take up to 24 hours, however. As with all bitcoin sportsbooks, withdrawals are free to process for players.

CloudBet Sportsbook Bonuses

5.0 BTC Deposit Bonus

If you’re a Bitcoin sports bettor, and a deposit bonus is a crucial factor for you when picking a sportsbook, CloudBet has the biggest, by a considerable margin. For new depositors, they offer a 100% Match Bonus up to 5.0 BTC. It is worth noting that the attached rollover with this bonus is a whopping 10x. That’s certainly on the high end regarding rollovers and makes this bonus considerably less valuable. However, bettors will have a full year (365 days) to clear their deposit bonus.

The bonus is released as players earn CloudBet Loyalty Points. For every 800 points earned, 0.01 of the bonus is released. The bonus takes quite a while to clear using their rewards system but can be unlocked through wagering at the sportsbook or casino. The Loyalty Points don’t seem to have much of a purpose other than for clearing bonuses, which is a bit of a disappointment. They don’t have a VIP program or any other rewards system that is utilized to reward high volume players.

CloudBet Review Highlights

Betting Markets

Cloudbet Betting Markets Betting Software Interface

CloudBet has an impressive platform and is a no-nonsense sportsbook. They don’t have a blog or a guide to their wagers, which may have some less experienced bettors feeling intimated. Bettors log in, and they are greeted with endless screens of sports betting odds. They offer three odds types, fractional, decimal and American which can easily be changed at the top of each page.

In terms of sports offered, they’re not quite as expansive as Nitrogen or BetCoin, but they’re close. Just about every sport has sport in the world is represented and popular sports, such as soccer, basketball and baseball have leagues from all over the world. Each game has its fair share of markets, but team and player propositions are one area the sportsbook lacks. Also, as we mentioned above, they don’t offer teasers for football or basketball, something that may drive some bettors away from the book.

One area where they’re above-average is live betting. They have live options for just about every sport they offer, including obscure sports like women’s volleyball. For some contests, they simply have adjusted sides and totals, but for more popular events, they have an assortment of different wagers.

Large Wagering Limits

CloudBet trumps just about every other Bitcoin sportsbook in the market with their betting limits. They also offer a minimum bet of 0.001 BTC for those looking to wager smaller amounts. CloudBet’s limits won’t be static and will be adjusted depending on how much action is on a contest. For instance, for high liquidity markets, like the NBA or NFL Playoffs bettors can wager up to 200 BTC.

CloudBet Support

The one major knock we’ve noticed from players is CloudBet’s support. Unlike many other sites that have live chat and sometimes phone support, they simply offer email support, and that can quite slow at times. However, their email speeds are quite slow compared to competitors. This is an area they need to work on improving.

CloudBet Review – Overall

CloudBet is a standout choice for crypto bettors who want high betting limits, instant deposits, and a no-nonsense gambling experience. With fast withdrawals, a modern mobile-friendly platform, and a solid range of sports and casino games, it’s easy to see why CloudBet has remained a major player in the Bitcoin gambling space since 2013.

The 5 BTC welcome bonus is one of the biggest in the industry, and their zero-confirmation deposits mean you can fund your account and start betting almost instantly. Their live betting options are solid, and the sportsbook covers a vast selection of major and niche sports.

However, customer support could use improvement, especially with slow email response times. Additionally, while the betting limits are excellent, CloudBet lacks some advanced wager types like teasers and if-bets, which could be a drawback for strategic sports bettors.

If CloudBet doesn’t check all your boxes, don’t worry—we’ve reviewed plenty of other top-tier crypto and traditional online sportsbooks.
